Here in the Department of Chemical, Biochemical and Environmental Engineering (CBEE) we’re very excited about our AIChE student chapter hosting the 2024 AIChE Mid-Atlantic Regional Conference at UMBC on April 6 - April 7, 2024.
We are expecting attendance of over 300 students and faculty from 30+ universities in the region. The conference includes AIChE-specific events, such as ChemE Jeopardy and ChemE Car, as well as a career fair, research poster presentations, workshops, and keynote speakers. As such, this is an excellent opportunity for you to help elevate UMBC’s reputation and ensure this is a successful event.
The success of the conference requires financial support in addition to the efforts of faculty and staff alongside the hundreds of volunteer hours by the AIChE student chapter leadership and membership. The success of the conference will reflect not only on the AIChE students and our department, but also on the broader UMBC community.
